MakLoc located in Nisku, AB is looking for a Saw Operator to join our team. The role will encompass the following responsibilities:
Duties Included but not limited to:
- Process raw material through Saw following quality and company specifications
- Input and follow cutlist through our material tracking software StruMIS
- Operate machinery and equipment to the specifications of the manufacturer
- Ensure daily production meets specific work order timelines
- Understand and follow all corporate safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements
- Ensure raw material, shop equipment and work areas are clean and organized
Requirements:
- MUST be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
- must be comfortable using a computer (basic computer skills required)
- Proficient in Math (basic math skills)
- High level of concentration, attention to detail and quality control
- Job will require lifting of up to 25kgs
- Have the ability to work in a shop environment and Outside in the yard
- Operate overhead cranes
- Have the ability to take direction and report progress and completion with Supervisor
