Welders, Fitters, required in Nisku, Alberta!

Journeyman Rate starting at $37.00 Per Hour!
Reporting to the Weld Shop Supervisor the welder must be able to perform the duties of welding carbon steel to meet CWB requirements, as it pertains to the project.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Perform welding (tack, arc, gas, etc.) in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan work
- Prepare, align, and assemble components using templates and work aids
- Grind, smooth, and finish welded surfaces
- Heat, form, and shape metal parts using tools and welding equipment
- Set up and adjust welding equipment (torch, voltage, amperage)
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards and on-time production
- Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work environment
- Follow health, safety, and QA/QC procedures and policies
Qualifications:
- 2nd, 3rd year apprentices ($33.00 Starting Salary) or Journeyman ($37.00 Starting Salary)
- CWB certified MANDATORY (Please do NOT apply if you do not have)
- FCAW/MCAW ALL POSITION certified MANDATORY (Please do NOT apply if you do not have)
- Structural experience an asset
